Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Suzor IT ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the SuzorOS QuickBooks Integration ("Application"). By using the Application, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Scope

The Application is an internal integration tool used by authorized Suzor IT personnel to connect the SuzorOS platform with Intuit QuickBooks Online. This Policy applies only to data accessed or processed by the Application and does not govern data handled by Intuit, SuzorOS more broadly, or any other third-party service.

2. Information We Access

In the course of operating the Application, we may access the following categories of data from connected Intuit QuickBooks Online accounts:

  • Company profile information (company name, address, contact details)

  • Customer and vendor records

  • Invoices, estimates, bills, and payment records

  • Products, services, and chart of accounts data

  • Transaction history and financial reports

  • Tax and accounting metadata

We access this data solely through Intuit's official APIs and only with valid OAuth authorization granted by an authorized Suzor IT representative.

3. How We Use Information

Data accessed through the Application is used exclusively to:

  • Synchronize records between SuzorOS and Intuit QuickBooks Online

  • Generate, update, and reconcile invoices and payments

  • Maintain accurate customer and billing records across Suzor IT's internal systems

  • Support internal reporting, auditing, and accounting workflows

We do not use Intuit data for marketing, advertising, profiling of individuals, or sale to third parties.

4. Data Storage and Security

Data accessed by the Application is stored in Suzor IT's internal systems, including encrypted databases and cloud infrastructure operated by Suzor IT or its vendors. We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of data, including:

  • Encryption of OAuth credentials and sensitive fields at rest

  • Transport-layer encryption (TLS) for all API communication

  • Role-based access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel

  • Routine credential rotation and monitoring of access logs

No system can guarantee absolute security. In the event of a data incident materially affecting information accessed via the Application, Suzor IT will respond in accordance with applicable laws and contractual obligations.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade data accessed through the Application. Data may be disclosed only:

  • To authorized Suzor IT employees and contractors with a legitimate business need

  • To service providers (such as hosting and infrastructure vendors) acting under confidentiality obligations

  • When required by law, regulation, subpoena, or other valid legal process

  • To protect the rights, safety, or property of Suzor IT or others

6. Data Retention

We retain data accessed through the Application for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Synchronized records that mirror data in QuickBooks Online may be retained alongside SuzorOS records under Suzor IT's standard business records retention practices.

7. Revocation of Access

The authorizing user may revoke the Application's access to QuickBooks Online at any time through Intuit's account settings. Upon revocation, the Application will cease pulling new data from the affected account. Previously synchronized data may remain in Suzor IT's systems subject to the retention practices described above.

8. Compliance with Intuit Policies

The Application's use of information received from Intuit APIs complies with the Intuit Developer Code of Conduct, the Intuit Platform Developer Agreement, and applicable Intuit policies governing the handling of QuickBooks data.

9. Children's Privacy

The Application is not directed to children and is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted at the same URL as this document, with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
