Our commitment
Suzor IT designs and operates this site to be accessible to all visitors, including those using assistive technology. We use WCAG 2.2 Level AA as the implementation target for this site. WCAG 2.2 builds on WCAG 2.1, the standard referenced by the current federal Title II rule.
We approach accessibility barriers as functional issues, not cosmetic exceptions. That matters for every visitor and is especially relevant to the public-sector organizations we serve.
Accessibility in the work we deliver
The U.S. Department of Justice’s Title II web and mobile accessibility guidance identifies WCAG 2.1 Level AA as the technical standard for covered state and local government web content and mobile apps. Current federal guidance lists April 26, 2027 for public entities serving 50,000 or more people and April 26, 2028 for smaller entities and special-district governments. The scope, exceptions, and application of the rule depend on the public entity and the content or service involved.
When accessibility is part of a client engagement, the requirements, responsibilities, testing approach, and deliverables should be defined in the written scope. A tool scan or technical configuration by itself is not a certification of a client’s compliance.
How we test
Our review approach combines automated checks with manual inspection. Depending on the change, that review may include:
- Color-contrast checks against WCAG Level AA minimums for normal and large text.
- Review of visible focus indicators, touch-target size, zoom, and responsive reflow.
- Keyboard checks using Tab, Shift-Tab, Enter, Escape, arrow keys where applicable, and the skip-to-main-content link.
- Automated scans using tools such as axe alongside review of semantic markup, ARIA usage, form labels, and image alternatives.
- Verification that nonessential animation is disabled or replaced with a static state when
prefers-reduced-motionis set.
Automated results do not establish conformance on their own, so we welcome feedback when something falls short.
Ongoing review
Accessibility work is ongoing, and automated checks and manual review cannot identify every barrier. If a confirmed limitation cannot be corrected promptly, we will describe it here and provide a workaround when one is available. If you encounter a barrier, please report it below.
