Suzor IT has partnered with Ralph C. Mahar Regional High School to develop a student-led IT Help Desk. Student Help Desk gives high-school students an opportunity to gain real-world experience while furthering their knowledge of the technology field.

What is Help Desk?

Help Desk is a team of people that are responsible for answering technical questions and assisting users with using technology within their organization. Help Desk Agents primarily work with end users via Email, phone or Live Chat support. Suzor IT's Help Desk primarily works with K-12 schools, Municipalities, and small-medium businesses.

Is Help Desk for me?

Do you enjoy helping people? If so, then working at Help Desk is for you! Help Desk agents spend the majority of their day assisting people with using technology. To work in Help Desk you need to have a positive attitude, good work ethic, and an eagerness to learn. There are breakthroughs in technology almost every day which means Help Desk is constantly changing and adapting.

What can I expect?


Each intern will be expected to complete an online class related to technology each semester.


Interns will document what they do each day and present their work each month to the Suzor IT team.


Each semester, Student Help Desk will be tasked with a project to help the local community.
